Alfredo sauce
you'll need
0.5 stickunsalted butter
1 tablespoonolive oil
2cloves garlic
minced
0.5 pintheavy cream
¼ cupgrated parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
3 tablespoonsmilk
For the Shrimp Freddy:
4 Tablespoonsred bell pepper
diced
4 TablespoonsPurple Onion
diced
1clove garlic
minced
3green onions
diced
1 tablespoonbutter
2 tablespoonsfinely grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in sauce pan with olive oil and sauté garlic over medium heat, add heavy cream, pepper and parmesan cheese. Reduce heat and stir until the parmesan is melted. Adjust thickness as desired with milk and hold while the rest of the dish is prepared
Step 2
Sauté vegetables (except green onion) in the butter. When tender, add the diced green onions
Step 3
then the alfredo sauce, pasta and precooked shrimp. Stir well and add another couple of Tablespoons of finely grated parmesan cheese and continue cooking at low heat until cheese is melted. Adjust thickness to your satisfaction with milk or liquid from the pasta pot.
