Instructions
Roasting the Groundnuts (Palli)
Step 1
Roast 500 grams of Groundnuts (Palli) in a frying pan in medium-low flame

Create the Base Chutney Slurry
Step 2
In an Electric mixer/blender, grind the roasted palli with few Green Chillis and Salt. Add water based on how thick you want the chutney to be

Step 3
Scoop the ground slurry into a Bowl

Making the Seasoning (Popu)
Step 4
VERY IMPORTANT, to avoid Red Chilli Powder and yet get a good red oil colour, add the Red Chilli Powder at the last minute in the fried seasoning and stir for EXACTLY 2 to 3 SECONDS and immediate turn the flame off.
Step 5
In a seperate frying pan, make the seasoning by adding oil, Cumin and Mustard seeds, Dry Red Chillis and Curry leaves and dry it on a low flame for 2 to 5 minutes

Combine Everything
Step 6
Mix the seasoning with the slurry in the bowl and mix well with a spoon

Step 7
Serve with any South Indian Breakfast items (Dosa, Idli, Upma, .etc.) and Enjoy!
