GOBI MANCHURIAN
Classic Indo Chinese Gobi Manchurian which is also guiltfree !!
This is so soooo good and one of my favourite starters in restaurants as a kid and I still enjoy this
1 small Cauliflower
1/4 cup rice flour or all purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
Salt & pepper
Chili powder 1 tsp
Garlic chopped 3
Milk 5 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Italian seasonings 1 tbsp
Boil gobi in salted water for 4-5 minutes, next dip in the marination. The marination should be little thick and coating consistency
Deep fry Coated Caulifower or Airfry 200c for 18-20 minutes until crispy
Sauce
Oil - 2 tbsp
Chopped Garlic - 2 tbsp
Grated Ginger - 1 tbsp
Chopped Onion - 1
Green Chillies - 6
Chopped Capsicum- 1/3 cup
Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Sauce or sriracha or Schezwan Sauce - 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
Vinegar -1/4 tsp
Cornflour 2 tsp
Water 4 tbsp
Water to adjust consistency
Garnish
Spring onions and sesame seeds roasted
1. Heat oil, cook ginger and garlic
2. Add onion and capsicum cook further
3. In another bowl mix in all sauces in a bowl, in a seperate bowl mix cornflour and water till lump free
4. Add these sauce to the vegetables and once sauce is ready, add water if needed to adjust consistency and then toss the crispy cauliflower
5. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions
