These sticky and spicy chicken drumsticks are finger-licking good! They have a sweet and savory sauce, with a little bit of heat and a crispy skin, which makes them perfect.
A quick and easy recipe to make. I always will throw everything together in the morning and then when it's time for dinner, I can just remove them from the fridge and they are ready to go.
Because there is honey in this recipe, it's important to keep an eye on them while in the air fryer. In my experience, honey can burn super easily, so make sure to flip the chicken to keep an even cook.

Step 1
In a mixing bowl or large bowl add your chicken along with the marinade ingredients.

Mix everything together and marinade in the fridge for 4-6 hours.

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place them in a single layer. Save the leftover marinade!

Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Step 6
While the chicken cooks, over medium-high heat, pour your marinade into a pot. Bring to a boil and stir until the marinade is thick and resembles a sauce.
Step 7
Baste your sauce over the drumsticks and air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Step 8
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
