Ingredients: 5-6 pickling cucumbers, sliced; 1 Tbsp garlic, minced; 1/3 C onions, diced; 1/4 green onion, sliced; 1 Tbsp soy sauce; 2 Tbsp rice vinegar; 1-2 Tbsp gochugaru pepper powder (chili powder); 1 Tbsp brown sugar; 1 Tbsp sesame seeds; Salt to taste; Pepper to taste

Traditionally the cucumbers are spiralized, rather than sliced. Gochugaru is made of a variety of chili peppers that are milder and sweeter than the common chilis. But there's no reason to think that a regular chili powder wouldn't work.
