APPLE PIE OATMEAL

✌️Dr. B has generously allowed me to share this super simple and delicious Apple Pie Oatmeal recipe with y’all so tag a friend who needs to make this and bookmark for tomorrow’s breakfast.

😏RECIPE (2 servings)
1/3 cup rolled oats
1 cup peeled, cored and finely chopped apple
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (I used cinnamon)
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean powder or vanilla extract

1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the oats, chopped apple, chia seeds, ginger, applesauce and 1 cup water.
2. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring often, until the oats are soft and thick. If needed, add an extra 2 to 3 tablespoons of water for desired consistency. Stir in the vanilla and divide between bowls.
3. Enjoy as is or with your favorite toppings. If you prefer sweeter oatmeal, drizzle 100% maple syrup on top, to taste.
