2 tspoil

1 tspchana dal
1 tspurad dal
¾ tspcumin
2dry chilli
1 sprigcurry leaves
2green chillies

Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds
Step 2
Once mustard splatters, add the channa and urad dal and cook on medium flame for 20-30 seconds

Add cumin seeds and the green chillis
Step 4
Add the onions and cook for 2-3 mins
Step 5
Add 500ml of hot water, salt. Close the lid and cook for 12-15 minutes until onion is transparent
Step 6
Make a mixture of besan and water and add it to the pot. Add the ginger.
Step 7
Cook for 2-3 minutes
Step 8
Mash and add the potato
Step 9
Cook for 2-3 minutes until shining
Step 10
Turn off the stove and add optional lemon juice/coriander
Step 11
