Step 1
In a shallow bowl beat together eggs, milk,
sugar, cinnamon, and %4 teaspoon salt. Dip
bread in egg mixture, coating both sides. In a
skillet cook bread on both sides in a small
amount of hot butter, margarine, or oil over
medium-high heat till golden brown; add more
butter as needed. Serve with maple-flavored syrup. Makes 5 servings.
