Rinse beef brisket if seasoned

Add yellow onion and garlic to 2.5 cups water

Add pickling spice
Pour Guinness Brisket should be covered by liquid, if not, add water
Bring to boil
Cover and Simmer 40 mins per pound (4 lbs is 2.5 hrs)
Step 5
Check if tender, let rest for 10 mins
Step 6
Boil veggies for 15-20 minutes
