One Dish Baked Butter Chicken

All the flavor of a delicious butter chicken, but with a fraction of the effort!
I won’t lie, I was intrigued to try this and see if it really worked. I was pleasantly surprised it did just that and more. Such a great recipe that’s so easy!
This recipe you can also skip the overnight marinate because the flesh gets infused with flavour as it bakes. Not spicy at all, so this one for everyone!

Marinade
½ cupplain greek yogurt
1 Tbsplemon juice
1 Tbspginger powder
1 Tbspgarlic powder
1 tspturmeric powder
2 tspgaram masala
1 tspchili powder
1 tspcumin
½ tspsalt
Curry Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Skip this step until ready to cook if you are marinating your chicken overnight.

In a large ziplock bag or bowl, add in your chicken and marinade ingredients.

salt½ tsp
Step 3
Mix everything together, making sure that all the chicken is fully coated with the marinade.
Step 4
Optional: let it marinate for one hour or overnight.
Step 5
In a baking dish, add in your curry sauce ingredients, making sure to mix together.

Step 6
Place your chicken in the dish, using any leftover marinade to add on top of your chicken pieces.
Step 7
Bake for 45 minutes, basting your chicken with the sauce at the 30 and 40 minute marks.
Step 8
Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander and enjoy!
