Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well blended.








Step 2
Make a well in the flour mixture and add milk, applesauce, and maple syrup. Gently fold the ingredients just until incorporated. Do not over mix. The batter will be lumpy.


Step 3
Spoon 1/3c onto pan or griddle and cook 3-4 min until edges look dry and bottoms are crisp and lightly browned. Flip and cook 2-3 min.
Step 4
Serve topped with fruit, maple syrup, or apple butter.
