Instructions
Step 1
Chop up all veggies. Remove the jalapeño seeds (unless you like it spicy!)
Step 2
Set stovetop to medium. Add olive oil to dutch oven or large pot
Step 3
When oil is warm, add chopped garlic, jalapeños, and broccoli. Let cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Add tomato paste, fire roasted tomatoes, onion powder, salt, and chicken broth. Stir and let it come to a boil. If you want to use onions, add chopped onion at the same time as you would the garlic.
Step 5
Add chopped yellow squash and two quarts of water. Increase to high heat until it reaches boiling point
Step 6
Add whiting and reduce to medium heat. Boil for 10 minutes
Step 7
When there are five minutes left, add a handful of chopped cilantro and stir
