Instructions

Step 1
Squeeze the excess liquid out of the kimchi and chop it finely. Drain the tuna thoroughly as well.
Step 2
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add kimchi, and stir-fry for a few minutes.
Step 3
Add 1 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp minced garlic. Mix well. Add drained tuna and stir-fry on medium-high until moisture evaporates. Turn off heat, mix in 1 tbsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp sesame seeds. Tuna kimchi stir-fry is ready!
Step 4
Roast a few papers of gim (seaweed) in a pan. Later, you will crush these to use in the rice balls.
Step 5
Mix 2 bowls of rice with 2 pinches of salt, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp sesame seeds. Spread rice in your hand, place tuna kimchi stir-fry in the center, and shape into a ball.
Step 6
Crush roasted gim in a plastic bag and roll the rice balls in it, if desired. Enjoy immediately or wrap in plastic wrap to keep their shape for later. Very flavorful tuna kimchi rice balls is done!
