Instructions

Step 1
Once your veggies are chopped, rice is precooked, and eggs have been scrambled, you can begin.
Step 2
Boil the chopped carrots and the peas until tender. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
In a wok over medium high heat, add the butter and your chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the rice and begin to fry it being careful not to make it mushy.
Step 5
After the rice has had a chance to get a bit toasty, add in the cooked peas and carrots, as well as a drizzle of sesame oil, and soy sauce to taste.
Step 6
Add the scrambled eggs and gently fold them in. Season with pepper if desired. Garnish with chopped cilantro or scallions and sesame seeds.
