Prepare the peas. Boil them for a few minutes and then keep them aside.

Slice the ham in small cubes.

Prepare a pot with water to cook the pasta. When the water is boiling add some salt and the pasta. It is prefered to use a short type of pasta for this recipe. Let the pasta boil as long as indicated on the box.

Take a large pan and ease down the heavy cream. Switch on the heat but keep it low.

Add the peas and the ham to the cream and let it stew.

When the pasta is ready, strain it and ease it down into the pan with the heavy cream, ham and peas. Increase the heat and then add some salt and as much parmesan as you like.
