Step 2
Start the broth: Combine 8 C water, chicken broth, bouillon cubes, and rosemary in the pot. Turn the heat on to medium high so it starts to boil while you prep the carrots and potatoes. Peel and cut the carrots and potatoes and add to the pot.

Step 3
Make the noodles: Combine the flour, salt, eggs, 1 C water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl and mix well. Put some flour on your table so the mixture doesn’t stick. Dump it out on the table. If it’s wet or sticky in parts, add a little flour. If it’s too dry, add a little water until it feels right.

Step 4
Roll it out as pretty flat with a rolling pin. Use a plastic pizza cutter or a butter knife to cut lots of long straight lines in the dough. Then cut lots of lines the other direction in the dough. *Tip: the dough will expand as it cooks so make sure your noodles are not too big.

Let simmer on low temp for 2 hours, stirring frequently, about every 10-15 minutes. Once done, let it rest for about 10 minutes and then enjoy! *Tip: it reheats very well for a couple days after!
