Instructions
Step 1
Add broth, chicken, vegetables and seasonings to large stock pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 60 minutes.
Step 3
While that simmers, make your dumplings by first combining the dry ingredients and then adding the wet ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 4
When the broth mixture is done simmering, remove and shred the chicken. Whisk together the cream and corn starch. Mix that and the chicken into the pot.
Step 5
Portion dumpling dough into small balls and drop into the broth. Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
