Instructions
Step 1
Place chicken in slow cooker and season both sides of the chicken with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and ground ginger to preference.
Step 2
Add 1 cup Orange juice, 3 oz coconut aminos, 1 oz apple cider vinegar, and 1 tbsp molasses to slow cooker.
Step 3
Cooked on high for about 4 hours.
Step 4
When done, carefully remove chicken; the chicken should fall off the bone. Put shredded chicken in a bowl.
Step 5
Take roughly 1.5-2 cups of the liquid from the slow cooker and add the liquid to a small saucepan. If chicken with skin was used, use a paper towel to blot off excess fat from liquid. Cook on med (gas stove) for 10-15 minutes to reduce.
Step 6
*Instant Pot:
Sautéed chicken in instant pot, cook on high for 12 minutes, natural release.
