Ingredients

8 ouncesbacon
cut into 1/2" pieces
4jalapeños
seeded and finely chopped, plus sliced jalapeños for serving
4cloves garlic
minced
1 teaspoonkosher salt
divided
¼ cupall-purpose flour
4 teaspoonvegetable base
2 cupsunsweetened almond milk
8 ounces1/3 fat cream cheese
cut into 1" pieces, room temperature
1.5 poundschicken breast
cooked, shredded
¼ cupfat free mozzarella
4 cupswater
Instructions
Step 1
Cook bacon in large pot until crispy. Remove bacon. Add chopped jalapenos and cook until softened. Coat with flour and cook for a couple minutes. Slowly whisk in broth and milk. Lower heat to simmer. Add cream cheese until melted. Add cooked chicken and most of bacon and cook until heated throughout. Serve with shredded cheese and bacon on top.
