Instructions

Step 1
Start by slicing your chicken into chunks and placing into a bowl with 1/2 tsp of salt, pepper, garlic powder, chinese five spice, dried chili flakes, and cornstarch.
Step 2
Give it all a good mix together and place on a baking tray, spray over some of the cooking spray and then place in the oven at 220°C for 20 mins or in the air fryer at 200° for 16 mins.
Step 3
In the meantime, slice your bell pepper and onion into rough small pieces.
Step 4
Get your rice on to cook using your preferred method.
Step 5
Heat 1/2 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan and add in the onion, pepper and trimmed green beans. Stir and fry on high heat for 6 mins.
Step 6
In the meantime, combine all of the sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Step 7
Lower the heat on the pan and pour all of the sauce. Stir around for a minute and you should see it thicken nicely. Add more water if required.
Step 8
Add in the cooked chicken pieces and stir round to thoroughly coat.
Step 9
Serve the rice into four equal portions and top with 1/4 of the chicken mixture.
