☀️ Supercharged Golden Milk☀️That’s super golden and Indian grandm

☀️ Supercharged Golden Milk☀️That’s super golden and Indian grandma approved 🤩 Golden milk or Haldi Doodh as it’s known in India is a great way to enjoy the benefits of the golden spice, turmeric and its beneficial polyphenol curcumin. We add a pinch of black pepper to enhance the absorption of curcumin and other anti-oxidant rich spices, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove and nutmeg for a fragrant and calming effect. Superspiced. Supercharged. Indian grandma approved 🙌🏽☀️ RECIPE

Instructions

Step 1
☀️Heat 2 cups of a milk of choice in a pot on a medium high flame — I like unsweetened soy for the beneficial isoflavones and protein
Step 2
☀️Add 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1/8 tsp cardamom, 1/4 tsp ground ginger, a pinch each of cloves and black pepper and 1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon and whisk to combine allowing the milk to simmer for 1-2 minutes
Step 3
☀️Froth with a handheld frother if you like it
Step 4
☀️Add sweetener of choice if you like
Step 5
NOTE: Turmeric needs fat and heat for improved bioavailability of the curcumin so don’t use a fat free milk and make sure to heat it through.
