1brown onion
large, chopped finely
300 grambacon
75gbrown sugar
firmly packed
2 tablespoondijon mustard
1 tablespoonworcestershire sauce
1 tablespoonhot chilli sauce
410 gramcanned crushed tomatoes
400 gramcanned cannellini beans
rinsed, drained
400 gramcanned butter beans
rinsed, drained
400 gramcanned borlotti beans
rinsed, rained
chicken stock cube
½ cupflat-leaf parsley
finely chopped, fresh
4 sliceswholemeal toast
Instructions
Step 1

Place onion, bacon, syrup, sugar, mustard, sauces, tomatoes, beans and stock in a 4.5-litre pan. Season to taste.
Step 2
Serve beans sprinkled with parsley.
