1 poundsliced bacon
1 poundbulk pork sausage with sage flavor
1onion
small, diced
2ribs celery
diced
½ cupunsalted butter
3 cupschicken stock
or turkey, our stuffing was on the drier side, add 4+ cups if you want it more moist, we liked it crispy on top and moist on the bottom
1 tablespoondried sage
1 tablespoonpoultry seasoning
½ teaspoonground pepper
½ teaspoonsalt

Instructions
Step 1
Tear up your bread into one-inch pieces Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour until dry
Step 2
Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces and start cooking on medium heat. Add sausage, onion, celery. Mix them all together, turn down the heat to low, and cook for about 45 minutes.
Step 3
Drain most of the fat. Place aside in a large mixing bowl to cool. Add in sage, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper (we added it to the broth by accident but still worked)
Step 4
Add butter to the pan, and deglaze with 1 cup of turkey stock, add the rest of the turkey stock and turn off the heat.
Step 5
Add bread to the mixing bowl and toss the meat with the bread. Add the stock/butter mixture from the pan ⅓ cup at a time while tossing together until you get the desired consistency. We used about 3 cups of liquid.
