Base gravy
Approx 4 portions of curry. Dilute base gravy with equal portion of water before using i.e 100ml base gravy to 100ml water.

Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil and add onions, salt and green pepper. Fry for ten minutes stirring regularly.
Step 2
Add garlic and ginger paste and fry for a couple of minutes.
Step 3
Then add mixed powder, garam masala , tomato paste and splash of water. Fry for a further 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently to stop the spices from catching.
Step 4
Now add hot water , turn down the heat to a simmer and cook for a further fifteen minutes. Blend until smooth.
