Ingredients

for the pasta:

1 portionmafaldine pasta
uncooked

red bird's eye chillies
sliced

white sesame seeds
toasted

chilli oil

Instructions
Step 1
Cook pasta as per packaging instructions.
Step 2
While waiting for pasta to cook, in a heat proof bowl, add cilantro, garlic, onion, curry powder, chilli powder and sugar.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pot over medium or medium high for 3 to 4 minutes, or until hot and small bubbles appear. Turn off the heat, then immediately pour the sizzling oil over the bowl of sauce ingredients and mix well.
Step 4
Add in vegetarian oyster sauce, soy sauce and lime juice. Mix well.
Step 5
Once pasta is cooked, drain then transfer to the bowl of sauce. Mix to coat. Taste and feel free to add more vegetarian oyster sauce if needed.
Step 6
Top with bird's eye chilli and sesame seeds (or even chilli oil, if desired) and serve.
