Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

Step 1
Add egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla into bowl and whisk together
Step 2
Bring heavy cream to simmer (do not boil) in a sauce pan
Step 3
Pour heavy cream into separate cup, then gently and slowly add cream to egg mixture
Step 4
Strain mixture to eliminate foam/bubbles
Step 5
Pour into ramekins and place ramekins into pan for water bath
Step 6
Fill pan up to 2/3 full of hot water for bath
Step 7
Bake for 35-40 minutes at 320°F
Step 8
Let cool to room temperature, then place in fridge for at least 4 hours before serving
