Instructions

Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until softened.

Add the garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, stirring frequently.

Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet, along with the caraway seeds (if using), and sauté for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized.
Step 5
Stir in the butter and cooked noodles, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
