Ingredients

1 Tbspevoo

1 lbground beef 85/15
fat drained

1 Tbspminced garlic

¼ cupdried onion

2 Tbspchili powder

2 tspsmoked paprika

1 ½ tspcayenne pepper

1 tspred pepper flake

1 tspaccent

½ tspblack pepper

1 cupwater

½ cupcooking sherry

2 Tbsppeanut butter

1can diced tomato

28 ozcan crushed tomatoes

15 ozcan reduced sodium black beans
rinsed and drained

15 ozcan dark red kidney beans
drained and rinsed
Instructions
Step 1
Add evoo to Dutch oven and turn to medium heat.
Step 2
Add beef, garlic and onion to Dutch oven.
Step 3
While beef is browning, add chili powder, paprika, Cayenne, red pepper, accent and black pepper in a small bowl. Mix well.
Step 4
Add water and cooking Sherry to Dutch oven after beef is browned and well crumbled. Simmer for 2-3 minutes then add spices and 2 Tbsp of peanut.
Step 5
Stir until spices and peanut butter are well incorporated. Simmer for another five minutes.
Step 6
While mixture is simmering in Dutch oven, drain and rinse beans.
Step 7
Add diced and crushed tomatoes to Dutch oven. Turn to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 8
Turn off heat and stir in beans. Cover and allow to stand 20-30 minutes.
Step 9
Serve.
