Instructions

Step 1
start preparing the steak by patting the steak dry with paper towels. Then in a small bowl, mix the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the steak with olive oil using your hands, then coat it evenly with the spice mixture.
Step 2
If you prefer you can preheat your air fryer to 200°C for about 5 minutes but this is optional.
Step 3
Place the seasoned steak in the air fryer basket, leaving the crisper plates in. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes on 200C, flipping it halfway through for even cooking. For a medium-rare steak, aim for an internal temperature of about 54 to 57°C. Adjust the time for desired doneness.
Step 4
While the steak is cooking, toss the sliced bell pepper and onion with a little olive oil and a pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper. So after removing the steak from the air fryer, place the peppers and onions in the air fryer basket. Then set the temperature to 200°C and cook for about 5 minutes, shaking halfway through to ensure it cooks evenly.
Step 5
After the steak has rested for about 5 minutes, slice it thinly against the grain.
Step 6
Warm the tortillas in the air fryer or in the microwave. Fill each tortilla with the sliced steak and cooked peppers and onions. Add your favourite toppings such as sour cream, salsa, guacamole, or grated cheese.
