Ingredients
4 servings

8pork sausages
large

2brown onions
peeled and thickly sliced

3mixed peppers
de-seeded and cut into chunks

1 tablespoonolive oil

300mlinstant gravy
prepared

1beef jelly stock pot

2 tablespoonstomato puree

1 tablespoonworcestershire sauce

2 x 400gtins of mixed beans in water

1 teaspoondried sage

sea salt

freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
start by cutting each sausage into five even pieces and placing them in a mixing bowl. Add your peeled and sliced onions and peppers to the bowl. Add the olive oil and mix all the ingredients together well. Then tip into your air fryer drawer. For making this sausage stew in an air fryer, set the temperature to 190C and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the sausages are browned.
Step 2
Meanwhile, mix up your gravy according to the packet instructions, adding your stock pot, tomato purée and Worcestershire sauce, too, and stirring everything together well.
Step 3
Once the sausages and veggies are brown, carefully remove the crisper plate with tongs, then add your gravy to the basket, along with the tins of mixed beans (with the liquid too) and your dried sage. Then season to taste with salt and pepper and stir well. Cook for a further 10 to 15 minutes at the same temperature, until the sauce has thickened slightly, stirring occasionally during cooking. If it is thickening too much, add a splash of hot water from the kettle to your air fryer sausage stew.
Step 4
Serve your stew with some crusty bread and a generous dollop of English mustard.
