Sauerkraut and Pork Shoulder Roast

Ingredients
8 servings

1can sauerkraut with caraway seeds
rinsed and drained

2.5 lbsBoneless pork shoulder roast
or sirloin roast

salt
to taste

pepper
to taste
2 TbspDijon-style mustard mayonnaise blend
creamy

1 cupbeer

sliced bread
Thick, crusty toasted

red onion
Raw
Instructions
Step 1
Place sauerkraut in crock pot.
Step 2
Trim fat from meat. If necessary, cut meat to fit pot.

Step 3
Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.


Step 4
Spread mustard-mayonaise blend over meat.
Dijon-style mustard mayonnaise blend2 Tbsp
Step 5
Place meat on top of sauerkraut.
Step 6
Pour beer around meat.

Step 7
Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.
Step 8
Transfer meat to cutting board; slice meat.


Step 9
Serve meat with sauerkraut with crusty bread and sliced raw red onion rings.
