Instructions
Step 1
1. Soak almonds overnight in water
The next morning strain and cover them with boiling water for 5 minutes. Strain again and peel off skins if skins are on.
Step 2
2. In a small container , soak the saffron threads and fennel in warm water for about 10 minutes. In a separate bowl soak the dates in warm water for 10 minutes.
Step 3
3. In a blender, combine the soaked dates, spices, ginger, saffron ghee, almonds. Start with 2 cups of water, then add to your taste if you want thinned out.
Step 4
4. Blend on high until mixture is very smooth
Step 5
Can serve room temp or chilled.
