Instructions
For the crispy egg tofu
Step 1
Mash 1 egg tofu with a fork.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and mix until evenly combined.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu mixture until crispy and golden brown.
Step 4
Remove and drain excess oil.
For the sauce
Step 5
in another pan, sauté minced shallots, minced garlic, and chopped bird’s eye chilies until fragrant.
Step 6
Add 70 ml water and sweet soy sauce according to taste.
Step 7
Stir until well mixed and the sauce slightly thickens.
Step 8
Pour the sweet and spicy soy sauce over the crispy egg tofu.
