Swedish Meatballs

300gMeatballs

extra virgin olive oil

25gbutter

salt

black pepper

onion powder

garlic powder

red chili flakes

1 Pincharomat
Sauce
Instructions
Mashed Potatoes
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and cut them in halves.




Step 2
Put the potatoes in a pot and fill it up with water until the potatoes are covered. Boil the potatoes at high heat until soft.


Step 3
Strain the potatoes and mash them with a potato masher or a ricer.


Step 4
Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and white pepper. Mix well and taste for adjustments.





Meatballs
Step 5
Add meatballs and oil to a pan. Start cooking at low heat until they start getting a bit of colour.



Step 6
Add butter, salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, red chili flakes, and a pinch of aromat. Mix it all well together.







Sauce
Step 7
Add butter to a small pot and let it brown on medium heat.




Step 8
Add flour to the browned butter. Mix well and let it cook out any remaining flour flavour.


Step 9
Add milk to the sauce while whisking. Continue whisking until the sauce starts to simmer.


Step 10
Add salt, onion powder, garlic powder, red chili flakes, soy sauce, dijon mustard, black pepper, and a cube of beef bouillon. Taste for adjustment.








Step 11
Let the sauce simmer until it's reduced to a desired consistency
