5 tablespoonshoisin sauce
2 tablespoonssoy sauce
2 tablespoonsrice wine vinegar
1 teaspoonsesame oil
1 teaspooncornflour

500gpork mince
or other white mince
2 teaspoonsvegetable oil

1onion
chopped
2carrots
chopped
1green pepper
1red pepper
3 clovesgarlic

1 inchginger
piece, minced

Instructions
Step 1
Combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl and whisk with a fork. If you'd like a more thickened, glossy sauce, whisk in 1 teaspoon of cornflour.
Step 2
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the mince and cook until cooked through, 7 to 8 minutes.
Step 3
Add the onions, carrots, and peppers and cook until tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in the garlic and ginger, and cook until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
Step 5
Pour the sauce over the top of the mince mixture and stir to coat. Cook until the sauce is warmed through, 30 to 60 seconds.
Step 6
Taste a spoonful of the mixture and add more hoisin sauce if you'd like a stronger flavor. Add the rest of the scallions and chilli flakes.
