Instructions

Prep the Meat Sauce:

In a large skillet or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add diced onion and cook until soft (3–4 mins), then stir in garlic for another 30 seconds.

Add ground beef and sausage, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Stir in marina sauce

Add sugar, adobo, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Cook the Noodles:

Cook according to package instructions. Drain and lay flat on parchment or lightly oiled foil to prevent sticking.

Make the Ricotta Mixture:

In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Boursin, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

Assemble the Lasagna:

In a 9x13-inch baking dish:

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.

Layer 3–4 noodles over the sauce.

Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.

Spoon some meat sauce over ricotta.

Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella.

Repeat layers (noodles → ricotta → sauce → mozzarella) until ingredients are used up. Finish with sauce and a generous topping of mozzarella and Parmesan.

Preheat oven to 375°F

Cover lasagna with foil

Bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake another 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
