Ingredients
4 servings
2oranges
medium, peeled and segmented, or about 1 cup fresh juice
1 ¼ cupcoconut water
2 Tbslemon juice
½ cupfresh ginger root
sliced
4 inchesfresh turmeric root
4dandelion plants
small, roots well washed, chopped, about total root & a few leaves if tender
1 tspcinnamon powder
black pepper
freshly ground, 3-4 turns of the grinder
1 Tbsraw honey
optional, to taste
himalayan salt
Instructions
Step 1
1. Wash and chop the ginger, turmeric, and dandelion root (peel ginger/turmeric if the skins are tough).
Step 2
2. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Step 3
3. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust: more honey if you want sweetness, more lemon if you want tang.
Step 4
4. For a silkier juice, strain through a nut milk bag or fine sieve. For maximum fiber, drink as is.
