Instructions

Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the Adjusted Mee Goreng Noodle Sauce and set the sauce aside.
Step 2
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the Indomie noodles as instructed on the package, but do not use the sauce or seasoning sachets that come with them. Once the noodles are cooked, strain them immediately and rinse them under cold water to prevent them from becoming soggy. Set the noodles aside.
Step 3
Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a wok over medium heat. Cook the chicken, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until it's cooked through.
Step 4
Add the minced garlic to the wok and toss to combine, then transfer the chicken and garlic to a separate bowl and set it aside.
Step 5
Pour the whisked eggs into the wok and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
Step 6
Add the spring onion and bean sprouts to the wok and cook for a couple of minutes until the vegetables are cooked but still lively.
Step 7
Add the cooked chicken back to the wok and mix it with the vegetables.
Step 8
Finally, add the prepared noodles and the pre-mixed noodle sauce.
Step 9
Mix everything well until all ingredients are evenly coated in the sauce. Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve immediately.
