Instructions

Step 1
Start by cooking rice. Instructions will vary by rice type. Add jasmine rice and water to a small pot. Stir, then bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to the lowest setting, cover, and simmer for 12 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit (covered) for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Cut chicken into cubes. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, and gochugaru. Toss until evenly coated.

In a small bowl, whisk honey, and rice vinegar together. Add sriracha if desired.

Heat neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until golden and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes).
Step 5
Remove the chicken and set aside. Pour the sauce into the same pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring often until thickened.
Step 6
Return the chicken to the pan, coat in the sauce and simmer until thickened, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle in sesame seeds and mix.
