Prepare the tofu

Place the tofu on a heatproof plate. If using silken tofu, drain excess liquid carefully.

Prepare the pork

In a bowl, mix minced pork with soy sauce, water, sesame oil, and cornflour (if using).

Assemble

Spread the seasoned minced pork evenly over the tofu.

Steam over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, until the pork is fully cooked.

Remove from the steamer. Spoon the cooking juices over the tofu.
