Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the Rice: Boil the rice for 15 minutes. Drain it and let it cool slightly.
Step 2
Prep the Mix: Sauté the onions until golden. Finely dice the raw bell pepper and shred the raw cabbage (removing the tough core/stalks).
Step 3
Combine: In a large bowl, mix the ground meat with the boiled rice, sautéed onion, raw bell pepper, and raw cabbage.
Step 4
Form the Meatballs: Add the egg to the mixture. Gradually add breadcrumbs until the consistency is firm and cohesive. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Brown: Shape the mixture into meatballs and fry them in a pan until browned on the outside.
Step 6
Simmer: In a pot, combine 2 cups of tomato juice and 2 cups of water. Add a bouillon cube and Vegeta.
Step 7
Cook: Place the browned meatballs into the sauce and simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until the cabbage inside the meatballs is tender.
