Step 1
1. Whisk dry ingredients.

2. Cut in cold butter until coarse crumbs.

3. Add buttermilk gradually until just combined.

4. Turn out gently and pat into a rectangle; fold a couple times for layers.
Step 5
5. Pat to ~1″ thickness; cut straight down.
Step 6
6. Bake at 425 °F (220 °C) ~13–17 minutes until golden. You can also flash freeze on trays in freezer & store in bag up to 3 months.
