Instructions
Step 1
Make pasta of choice as instructed to al dente on packaging.
Step 2
Melt 2 sticks of butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic. I do about 2-3 tablespoons.
Step 3
Once butter is all melted and barely starting to change color, using a flat spoon or spatula, whip in heavy whipping cream until the color is a pale cream color. I don't measure but it is approximately 2 to 3 cups.
Step 4
Add in Parmesan cheese while stirring. I do between a half cup to 2/3 of a cup at a time. Make sure it is all incorporated before adding more. Again, I don't measure but you should need to add about 3 times to get desired texture. Add more or less Parmesan depending on how thick you like your sauce. It will thicken some as it simmers. Simmer on a low medium to high low temperature for a couple of minutes. Make sure to stir constantly so it doesn't stick to bottom of pan. You can add broccoli and rotisserie chicken to make it extra tasty.
