Instructions

Brown bacon

Add onion cook 2 mins
Step 3
Add chicken and cook for 5 mins
Step 4
Finely chop/cut carrot, and garlic, then add to pot along with peas cook 2 mins

Add flour and stir 1 min until mixed thoroughly, add stock cubes and cover with water, season bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer 45 mins total
Step 6
Mix together suet and self raising flour, add cold water until dry dough forms split into 6-8 dumplings add to pot and cover with 20 mins left on stew, leave untouched until finished
