A "volume eating" take on a classic Italian dish. This recipe uses a "hybrid base" of traditional whole wheat pasta mixed with zucchini noodles to provide a massive portion size without the typical caloric load of a large pasta plate.

Instructions

Step 1
Sauté: Heat oil in a large pot. Sauté onion, carrots, and celery for 8 minutes until soft.

Brown: Add turkey and cook until browned. Pour in marinara and simmer for 15 minutes.

Prep Noodles: Boil the spaghetti according to the box. Meanwhile, spiralize zucchini; lightly sauté or steam the zucchini noodles for 2 minutes and squeeze dry.

Portion (Weight-Loss Focus): Serve 120g turkey sauce over 150g zucchini noodles.
Step 5
Portion (High-Volume Maintenance): Mix 120g regular pasta with 100g zucchini noodles and top with 180g sauce and extra Parmesan.
