Instructions

Step 1
Sear the brisket in a hot pan.

2. Add all sauce ingredients plus about 300ml water or stock.

3. Cover and cook low and slow:

* oven: 150°C for 3.5 to 4 hrs
Step 5
* slow cooker: 7 to 8 hrs low
Step 6
4. Shred or slice the beef.
Step 7
5. Reduce the sauce slightly until glossy.
Step 8
6. Serve over sticky rice with the vegetables and toppings.
