Chili Mac

A slow-cooker chili-mac mashup with browned ground beef, tomatoes, and warm spices, finished with tender elbow macaroni and optional cheddar cheese for serving.

Instructions

Step 1
Brown ground beef and onion 6 to 8 minutes in large skillet over medium heat, stirring to break up meat. Drain fat.
Step 2
Place beef mixture, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic salt, cumin, red pepper flakes and black pepper in slow cooker; mix well. Cover; cook on low 4 hours.
Step 3
Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente; drain.
Step 4
Add macaroni to slow cooker; mix well. Cover; cook on low 1 hour.
Step 5
Serve with cheese, if desired. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
