Ingredients
3 servings
3boneless skinless chicken breasts
cut into bite-sized chunks
1 teaspoonsalt
1 teaspoonblack pepper
fresh cracked
2 teaspoonsonion powder
1 teaspoonitalian seasoning
or herbes de provence
1 teaspoonpaprika
optional
crushed red chili pepper flakes
optional
2 bunchasparagus
rinsed and trimmed
½ cupbutter
melted
1 teaspoonolive oil
2 teaspoonsminced garlic
1 tablespoonhot sauce
optional, we used sriracha
¼ cuplow-sodium chicken broth
or soy sauce
0.5juice of lemon
1 tablespoonparsley
minced
lemon

Instructions
Step 1
1. To prepare the baked chicken bites: preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
Step 2
2. Start to slice chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, red crushed chili pepper flakes, paprika, and onion powder. Marinate in a bowl while you prepare the asparagus and the sauce.
Step 3
3. Wash and trim the ends of the asparagus. Drain and arrange on one side of the baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 4
4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, hot sauce, chicken broth (or soy sauce), and lemon juice.
Step 5
5. Arrange chicken bites next to the asparagus in the sheet pan, then drizzle the chicken bites and asparagus with the lemon butter sauce.
Step 6
6. Transfer to the oven and bake at 400ºF (200ºC) for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink on the inside.
Step 7
7. Remove from oven, garnish the chicken bites and asparagus with parsley, crushed chili pepper, and lemon slices, and serve your chicken bites and asparagus immediately. Enjoy! ❤️
