Oven Baked Peruvian Chicken

This is a very tasty recipe. If you cook it just right the texture of the chicken becomes like pulled pork. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Marinade for Chicken:
2 poundsboneless and skinless chicken thighs
6garlic cloves
minced
⅓ cupTamari
substitute with any soy sauce
3 tablespoonslime juice
1 tablespoonolive oil
2 tablespoonsAji Amarillo paste
3 teaspoonscumin
1 teaspoonpaprika
1 teaspoonmexican oregano
1 teaspoonblack pepper
Green Sauce:
Instructions
Marinade for Chicken:
Step 1
Blend all ingredients for chicken

Tamari⅓ cup
lime juice3 tablespoons
olive oil1 tablespoon
Aji Amarillo paste2 tablespoons
cumin3 teaspoons
paprika1 teaspoon
mexican oregano1 teaspoon
black pepper1 teaspoon

Step 2
Put chicken in a Ziplock freezer bag and marinate overnight.
Green Sauce:
Step 3
Blend all ingredients to desired consistency but add the olive oil slowly at the end.

plain yogurt¼ cup

Directions:
Step 4
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Step 5
Put chicken in a baking pan or roasting pan. Roasting pan works better but i did a baking pan this time.
Step 6
If using baking pan put 1 cup of chicken broth in with the chicken.
Step 7
If using roasting pan put 1 cup of water in the pan.
Step 8
Cook for 20 minutes then flip the chicken. Baste the chicken.
Step 9
Cook a additional 20 mins.
Step 10
Serve with Green Sauce drizzled all over the chicken.
