Oven Baked Chicken Thighs 🍗🐔
9 steps
Prep:10minCook:35min
I swear this is one of the easiest ways to make chicken and it comes out SOOO juicy every single time. And the skin?? Crispy, seasoned, golden perfection 🤤
Also bone-in chicken thighs are sooo forgiving. You basically have to work hard to make these dry lol.

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Step 2
First and probably MOST IMPORTANT — take your chicken thighs out and pat them really dry with paper towels. The drier the skin is, the crispier it’s going to get.
Step 3
Put the chicken in a big bowl and drizzle it with just enough olive oil to lightly coat everything.
Step 4
Mix together all of your seasonings and then season the chicken like you mean business.. Get it all over the top, bottom and sides. I don’t want to see naked chicken anywhere!!!
Step 5
Put the thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet or baking dish. Give them a little room between each one so they actually roast instead of steaming.
Step 6
Bake at 425°F for about 35–45 minutes, depending on how big your thighs are.
Step 7
Chicken is technically safe at 165°F, but chicken thighs are honestly so much better when you let them get closer to 175–185°F. That’s when they get super tender and juicy instead of having that weird chewy thigh texture. Be careful! Make sure you use a meat thermometer
Step 8
If the chicken is cooked but you want the skin even crispier, turn the broiler on for 1–3 minutes at the end. WATCH them or you’ll burn up everything
Step 9
Take them out and let them rest for 5–10 minutes before cutting into them. DON’T immediately stab into one even though you’re going to want to lol. Let all those juices stay inside!!!
